My Story
One question that I frequently get asked is, “What do you do during the winter?” Well, I wish I could say that I spend most of my time on a warm sunny beach but that just isn’t the case. In 1999 I started pruning fruit trees to help customers who were ready to remove their trees due to poor production. I guess you could say that I have saved the lives of a few fruit trees. I thought this would just be a hobby of mine, however, word quickly spread that I could ‘fix’ fruit trees that have been pruned incorrectly.
As a result, over the past two decades I have been spending my winters cleaning up and training fruit trees. It seems that pruning is becoming a lost art and there is a growing demand for it. I actually enjoy it as it favors my creative side. It has also been nice to put into practice the skills I learned in horticulture classes.
If you are interested in having me help train your trees this winter, give me a call. Your trees are a long term investment in your landscape and you don’t want just anyone to prune them. Having your trees professionally pruned by someone who knows what he’s doing will make your trees look majestic and healthy. You may not even notice that they’ve been trimmed because it will look natural. We specialize in fruit trees and ornamental trees.
