Moore Green Water-Less Treatment

Our New ‘Water-Less’ Treatment Can Save up to 50%!*

If there was a product available that would cut your water use by 30%-50%, would you be interested? Well listen up, Moore Green is now offering a ‘Water-Less’ Treatment. “I first experimented with this product in 2004, but the product wasn’t easily accessible,” states Blake Moore, owner of Moore Green. “Recently the product is now available and is more stable to use and with the need to conserve water, we are making it available to our customers,” he says.

It’s not a soil wetting agent that is included in Moore Green’s BASIC and PLUS lawn programs or a superabsorbent polymer, however it is humectant and hygroscopic compounds that act like a ‘water-magnet’ that attracts water molecules from the air within soil and making it available to plants. One application lasts up to three months!

How To Use It:

1.     After the application, water heavily within 3 days to move the product into the root zone with at least ½” of water. Failure to deep water makes the treatment useless!

2.     Turn off your automatic sprinkler program. Only water manually on the next morning when the lawn appears grayish-blue and water deeply.

3.     Keep track of your water bill or usage and report it to Moore Green via [email protected]

No Messy Aeration Plugs

It’s a good practice to aerate your lawn once a year, however not everyone cares for those plugs that are left behind or the sprinklers that might become broken.  If this is you, then keep on reading.

Moore Green offers an alternative to the messy aeration: we call it our Soil Booster.  We combine soil conditioners, beneficial fungi and bacteria, and organic compounds to help naturally improve your soil.  We offer two treatments per year; spring and late summer.

These ingredients are sprayed onto the lawn and helps build the root system by improving the soil.  Our soil booster is great for soils that have difficulty in supporting plant growth.  New lawns also benefit from adding the beneficial fungi and bacteria, allowing them to quickly build roots.  Get your lawn off to a good start this spring by adding a Spring Soil Booster

Making it easy to do business with us is one of my goals. For instance, when a client begins service with us they choose the services they want and we take it from there. We don’t perform extra services without your authorization, unlike other companies. We offer three lawn care packages; Econo, Basic, and Plus to make it easier for homeowners to choose the care they want. See Table 1 for the differences.

Let’s face it, if it wasn’t for weeds, we wouldn’t be in business. The plants we call ‘weeds’ are tough, aggressive and a nuisance.  They come in all types, sizes, and seasons.  That’s right – they don’t come all at once.  Some grow in the spring while others thrive in the summer heat.  Some even grow during the winter underneath the snow.  This is why one weed treatment isn’t sufficient to keep your lawn weed-free all year long.

Moore Green’s yearly programs are designed to combat multiple weeds and target them when they’re most vulnerable – and we attack them from all angles.  We target their seeds with our spring pre-emergent to prevent them from getting started.  We use ‘combo’ products with 3 to 4 different products to control the wide-variety of lawn weeds.  We always include an additive to help the spray ‘spread and stick’ to the leaves so that rain or sprinklers won’t easily wash it off.

Lawn Grub Control

Just when your lawn is looking its finest, lawn insects like grubs, sod webworms, and cutworms destroy large sections, making your lawn look like a war zone. While it can be very frustrating to lose turf areas to grubs, it can be even more expensive to replace the dead lawn. Moore Green offers a season long Grub Preventer treatment which is applied before the grubs arrive. By taking care of the lawn insects early we can prevent their damage.
