Lawn care products and parts are experiencing crazy fluctuations, just like everything else. We are seeing fertilizer prices climbing over 200% over last year, unavailability of products due to lack of containers and lids as well as lack of active ingredients, shipping prices higher than ever, and equipment parts are on back order with no date of availability.
Moore Green has taken these steps to protect our clients from these fluctuations:
- We purchased and took delivery last fall of our fertilizer needs for our spring applications.
- We secured our herbicides and grub controls to be sure we have them on hand when needed.
- We purchased backup equipment and parts to avoid down-time in the event of equipment malfunctions.
Moore Green values the trust you place in us to protect and beautify your landscape. One of the principles that governs our team is to not cut corners by using less-effective products or lowering use rates. We intend to be in business in the future and consistently look at ways to improve our quality and provide 5-Star service for our clients. We are grateful for your business!
Title: Moore Green – a Great Place to Work

The year 2022 begins my nineteenth year running my own business. I’m proud to say that some of you have been with me from the very beginning. I can’t express how thankful I am for your confidence and patronage, and especially for referring family, friends, and neighbors to us. I treasure the relationships that I have created with many of you.
I must admit that the most difficult thing I’ve had to bear is to allow others to perform the work that I love, for the friends I’ve made along the way. There is a lot to learn when it comes to diagnosing plant problems and what tools are available to fix them. I’ve done this since I was eleven years old, and when I consider what I’ve learned over the last 39 years, I realize the value of constant learning.
It’s important to me that Moore Green is a service provider that can educate and help homeowners achieve success in their yards. I’ve focused my efforts on finding “A-Player” team members and providing a work environment that is rewarding and satisfying. I take care of my team members and enjoy seeing them develop personally and providing for their families.
Last year, Moore Green was awarded the distinction of “A Great Place to Work” when our efforts in team building were recognized. I am honored to receive this award and was invited to talk about it on a podcast by Dr. Sabrina Starling. To listen to it, click the link on our website.
If you know someone who enjoys being outside, is willing to learn, and loves to serve others, I would love to speak with them and see if they fit our team of A-Players.
Sincerely,
Blake Moore
